How do you grind Primogems?
How to Get and Farm Primogems – Genshin Impact Wiki Guide – IGN This Genshin Impact Wiki guide details everything you need to know about How to Get and Farm Primogems. Primogems are one of the most important currencies in Genshin Impact as this currency allows you to roll on the banner you like, weapon, or character.
- Primogems are the hardest currency to farm in Genshin Impact as they come in really small amounts and not that all that common too.
- However, it’s not impossible to save up a lot of primogems.
- It just takes time and a little bit of self-control.
- Advertisement Primogems are handed out by just about anything you do in this game.
However, just as mentioned above, they come in really small quantities. Let’s say around 5-20 depending on what you do. The best way to farm Primogems is through the Spiral Abyss. The first parts of the Abyss will give you 100 primogems per star with a maximum of 3 per floor.
- The latter parts which are floors 9-12 gives you 50 primogems per star with a maximum of 3 per floor, but this resets every Abyssal Moon change so you’d have a chance to claim them once more.
- Another method is through daily commissions.
- Finishing your daily commissions gives you about 60 primogems.
- Of course, events play a big part in the primogem economy as they also give a certain amount of primogem per event.
Patch updates and maintenance also gives us primogems from the developers themselves. The developers, miHoYo, usually send out these codes during their live streams. They also hand these out during certain events so keep an eye out for those! These are the only active codes for Genshin Impact right now.
Code | Rewards |
---|---|
GENSHINGIFT | 50 primogems, 3 hero’s wit. Can be redeemed monthly |
BSPD3ZRXU985 | 60 primogems, 10,000 mora |
To redeem these codes, you need to be at least Adventurer Rank 10. Once you’re done with that pre-requisite, head over to, Login, select your server, and enter the code. advertisement
How do you get many Primogems fast?
How to get free Primogems in Genshin Impact – There are all manner of ways to earn free Primogems through simply playing the game, so if you are willing to save up for the chance to unlock a new five-star character (although bearing in mind that each banner lasts just three weeks), then you can make wishes fairly regularly without opening your wallet.
- Hoyoverse also offers Primogems either to celebrate for events, such as its launch anniversary or code giveaways, as well as compensation for server maintenance downtime during version updates or bug fixes.
- The most dependable way of earning free Primogems is through the Daily Commissions, unlocked once you’ve reached Adventure Rank 12.
You get a total of four Daily Commissions each day. Each mission is usually very quick to complete, with each earning 10 Primogems. Once you’ve completed all Daily Commissions, report to Katheryne at the Adventurer’s Guild and she’ll reward you with 20 Primogems, so you can always earn at least 60 Primogems each day. Outside of Daily Commissions, there are plenty other ways to earn free Primogems, although these are less regular, some can only be earned once, and some are relatively meager:
Completing Archon (Main campaign) or Story (Character) quests (60 Primogems each – note that Archon chapters will usually consist of multiple quests so you can potentially earn more Primogems) Completing mission objectives in the Adventurer’s Handbook. Each chapter earns you 50-150 Primogems. Like campaign quests, they can only be earned once. Unlocking a new teleport waypoint, which usually gives you 5 Primogems. Earning in-game achievements sometimes by completing campaign quests but also by pulling off a rare combat feat. When an achievement pops up, just select the Achievement icon in the menu and you can redeem Primogems. Depending on the achievement, each achievement can be worth between 5-20 Primogems.
Opening chests. There’s thousands hidden in Teyvat, some rarer than others. Opening a common chest will earn you just 2 Primogems but if you can find a Luxurious chest, it’s possible to earn 10-40 Primogems. Taking headline banner characters for a Test Run. These are always very short to do, gives you a feel for the character’s playstyle if you’ve not already unlocked them, and you’ll get 20 Primogems for your trouble! Taking part in time-limited event quests and challenges. These usually run for the duration of a banner or new update, and always have opportunities to earn free Primogems. You can earn on average around 400 Primogems per event. There’s plenty of other resources you can earn too, but if you’re short on time, the good news is that Primogems are always the first rewards you can get. For example, if you’re playing a mini-game with ranked rewards, you’ll always find Primogems as a reward for getting bronze rather than gold. Reading the tutorials – really – each one gives you 1 Primogem. Every little helps.
Given the time it takes to complete story-based missions, how most rewards are given one-time, and that event quests are also unlocked gradually throughout the period it’s running, there’s not really a quick surefire way to farm Primogems apart from Daily Commissions.
- However, as long as you’re logging in regularly and engaging in the above activities, you’ll find that you can earn enough Primogems to at least make 10 pulls per banner period, though players who want more chances of getting the latest five-star character may have to consider spending real cash.
- Genshin Impact 3.2 is here! You can take part in the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy event to earn rewards like Primogems to Wish with Fate for Nahida,
You can check out the next and current Banners, and for future events, make sure you’re the right Adventure Rank, If you’re just starting your Sumeru journey, we can help with Sumeru Reputation, Tree of Dreams, and Dendroculus locations, As always, you can visit our tier list, and learn how Pity and 50/50 works,

Solving the Abyssal Domain’s Entrance Puzzle – The first thing that players will need to do is to travel to the Abyssal Domain’s location on top of Wuwang Hill in Liyue. The domain will initially be sealed with players not having any access to the inside. Located in a wetland area, Genshin Impact players should be aware of the Electro Cicin that spawn near the domain’s entrance; players that aren’t prepared for combat may find themselves needing the heal before entering the domain.
In order to unlock the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula, players will need one Pyro and one Geo party member to complete this puzzle. In this scenario, Amber and her fire arrows will be very useful. Located all around Wuwang Hill are multiple torches that need to be lit with a pyro skill of any kind. This can be accomplished by Amber or any pyro element party member received through the gacha system,
Including the ones by the sealed geo shrine, there are four torches in total. There are also spirits that will help players to find the next unlit torch.
The first torch is located right next to the sealed shrine. The second torch is located inside a nearby barrier next to a rock jutting out of the ground. In order to get inside the stream to light the torch, players must climb up the rock, then jump off to glide past the barrier. Players can then light the torch, which will make the barrier disappear. Torch number three is up the cliffs south of the sealed shrine inside an encampment of enemies. After dealing with them and opening the chest they are guarding, players can safely light the torch. The final torch can be found by following the blue spirit after lighting the encampment torch. It can be shot with one of Genshin Impact ‘s Amber’s arrows across a long distance or can be lit up close by a Pyro melee character.
After all of the torches are lit, the last step is to use a Geo skill from a Genshin Impact Geo character on the now unsealed shrine, which will open the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula.
